Sunday Premium Pay

Components have a requirement to pay Sunday premium pay to all eligible part-time employees, consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) Policy Memorandum, dated July 21, 2010. The requirement applies to all eligible prevailing rate nonappropriated fund (NAF) employees; it does not apply to NAF white-collar payband employees.

DOD NAF procedures have been issued permitting current and former NAF employees to file claims for Sunday Premium payments not paid for the period from May 26, 2003 to May 26, 2009.
