The Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS) will host its department-wide Defense Employee and Labor Relations Symposium (DELRS) from April 30, 2024 through May 2, 2024 at the NCED Conference Center and Hotel in Norman, Oklahoma. DELRS offers seminars that provide attendees with opportunities to improve their technical and professional proficiencies in labor and employee relations, discover best practices, and learn about the DoD’s overall strategic vision for delivering innovative, high quality services to the warfighter.

Dates:

Tuesday, April 30, 2024 through Thursday, May 2, 2024

Location:

NCED Conference Center and Hotel, 2801 East State Hwy 9, Norman, Oklahoma 73071

Audience:

DoD’s Labor and Employee Relations (LER) Practitioners, Attorneys, and Supervisors who work within the Labor and/or Employee Relations field(s).

Cost:

DCPAS does not charge participants to attend DELRS. However, participants' employing organizations will be required to fund the associated travel and per diem cost of attendance. This includes a Conference Fee of $40.00 each day that is reimbursable under the Joint Travel Regulations. Participants that do not live within the local commuting area are required to stay on-site at the NCED Conference Center and Hotel. All hotel reservations will be made through DCPAS.

NCED Conference Center and Hotel Charges:

• Lodging Rate: $107.00 per night
• Lodging Tax: $8.56 per night
• Meals: $56.00 each day of the event (totaling $168.00)

Registration Process:

Individuals interested in attending the Defense Employee and Labor Relations Symposium should register. Once the registration window closes, the DCPAS LER Training Team will work with the Component LER COP leads to finalize an attendee listing and make appropriate notifications to all who have registered.
