DOD’s Worldwide Human Resources Training Event (WWHRTE) is a biennial, multi-day symposium-style training forum hosted by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Civilian Personnel Policy) and DOD’s HR Functional Community. The event features a broad range of timely and relevant discussion on various Civilian HR initiatives and efforts within the Department, and includes conversations from senior DOD officials and Federal HR leaders, human resources (HR) subject matter experts, and DOD Human Resources Functional Community Practitioners. This event is organized by DCPAS and is an opportunity to bring together insights and discussion from the HR workforce across the DOD enterprise. This widely regarded event delivers the HR community with opportunities for training, sharing best practices, capturing the latest federal and industry trends, learning about new technologies, gaining insights on DOD’s current and evolving HR mission, and networking with your fellow HR Practitioners.
