Senior Executive Service Executive Development
Federal statute and regulation require that agencies establish programs for the continuing development of senior executives in accordance with Chapter 33 of Title 5, United States Code and Part 412 of Title 5, Code of Federal Regulations. Executive development is not only essential to carrying out vital mission functions, it is also a requirement of law. DCPAS provides policy, guidance, and advisory services to Component Senior Executive Management Offices and operational staffers throughout the Department to ensure Executive Development HR practitioners are equipped with the requisite resources to manage and execute successfully their executive development programs.
