Human Resources Functional Community Self-Assessment Tool
DCPAS employs the Human Resources Functional Community Self-Assessment Tool to evaluate maturity of all Functional Communities found in DOD. The expected outcomes of a functional community maturity model include better conservation of both financial and human resources. Additionally, it helps managers make better workforce decisions and promotes an engaged HR workforce that performs at its highest potential to advance the most import work of the DOD enterprise. A mature Functional Community gives the Department greater flexibility to choose the most effective and efficient labor source options to meet complex and evolving mission needs.
