Cost-of-Living Adjustment
Legislation enacted in 1973 provides for cost-of-living adjustments (COLA) to Social Security benefits. With COLAs, retirement benefits keep pace with inflation, which helps retirees bridge the gap between the benefits they receive and the rising cost of living. click here to learn more.

OPM Retirement Services Online
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) provides online services for retirees receiving benefits under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) or FERS Special, or the Organization Retirement and Disability System (ORDS). Annuitants can manage their annuity account online at http://www.servicesonline.opm.gov. They will need their “CSA” or “CSF” claim number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). If the retiree does not have a PIN, they should contact OPM to request one.
Annuitants should contact OPM for benefit information or for assistance with a transaction.

Social Security
