Telework and Remote Work
Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS) is responsible for policy oversight of the Department of Defense (DoD) Telework and Remote Work programs and provides advisory and consultation services for telework and remote work planning and policy development within the DoD. Telework and remote work are workplace flexibilities used to enable agencies to meet mission-critical needs while increasing work-life balance. In order to participate in either program, employees must have a Telework or Remote Work Agreement on file and complete the required training. Telework and remote work programs are administered by the Components in accordance with DoDI 1035.01.
