Priority Placement Program

The objective of this DCPAS training is to prepare Human Resources Offices (HROs) to administer the Priority Placement Program (PPP) in accordance with DOD policies and procedures. The three-and-one-half day Basic PPP training course for Human Resources practitioners covers the policy and procedures for matching and filling positions, registration of employees, the function of the Automated Stopper and Referral System, PPP for overseas activities, action codes reporting of referral resumes, and option codes for registration and requisitioning.

PPP Advanced Training Course is part of the Basic PPP training described above. A separate one-day break-out session is offered on the second day of the course for HR specialists with significant PPP experience who have successfully completed the Basic PPP Course. This advanced seminar consists of an in-depth discussion of current issues of interest and attendees are asked to provide pertinent discussion topics.

Offered four times a year at the Mark Center and Southbridge, MA, locations and in the Atlantic and Pacific overseas regions. Additional courses are scheduled at the request of DOD Components. The maximum number of attendees is 50.
