Staffing
The DCPAS Staffing course provides Human Resources practitioners with the background and knowledge necessary to operate in a DOD staffing environment where HR practitioners must ensure that Federal hiring is fair and based on merit. Participants learn about staffing laws, rules, regulations, and principles; DOD hiring authorities, recruitment methods, and hiring procedures; qualifications; and merit promotion and in-service placement actions. This four-day DCPAS course is held twice a year at the Mark Center. Additions to the course schedule are made based on requests from DOD Components. The maximum number of course attendees is 25.
